McCoy and Gibson…

Easily worth 14 points in this game…I know they were missing some people too but not two first round level talents at a position that UGA exploited all day…Hood was a boss and Redmond has a bright future ahead of him…but McCoy and Gibson would have completely changed this game for us…

Oh well

Tim Banks still chokes it away

Maybe I should delete. But we were told today by a staff member (not Coach) that McCoy most likely won’t return.
Strange, talked to his dad and uncle before the Syracuse game and they said he was 100% and would be ready for GA. Sounds like maybe he has had a set-back of some sort.

He’s probably recovering as expected (even better), but he’s not practicing/completing football activity at full speed. By no means is he 100%

You’re going to be disappointed. He’s not even full go in practice. Absolute earliest will be after the bye week (Arkansas). He would be right around 10 months around that time, which is still a remarkable timeline. I’ll be surprised if we see him.
10 months is pretty standard these days. I think Amari Rodgers played in the opener after tearing his in spring practice, that’s remarkable. The question is if McCoy takes half the year, is it worth it to him to even play this year? You have to ask that question these days.

Let’s stop the run first don’t matter who comes back in the secondary they beat us up in the LOS…we are tremendously undersized on the DL that’s gone be a problem

Did you happen to hear what's really wrong with Sanders Jr?
Didn’t say. The narrative is he still has muscle weakness in the same arm where he had a stinger - pinch nerve. But yesterday wasn’t the day for him to start.

UGA had a huge D line - elite front 7.

I don’t think we will play against a better d line rest of season.

But I’m concerned w lack of depth at DB.

Im just going to say it. I don't care anymore. The glass bothers better be ready. 1 of them as t least and get a W against Bama at their house e. If not, try to get one in Florida and I will hate both of u less for eating taco bell and McDonald's all season having these injuries. U want more money? I want more results.
What is a glass bother?

We’ll see but I trust my source over yours :)

I definitely believe this made a huge difference. Even if for no other reason than depth in a four hour shootout.

Anyone think that like with Beck last year this is the only game this season Stockton will play out of his mind like he did yesterday? I don’t think he will. Sometimes we are just a very unlucky program in these marquee games.

I’ll be fairly shocked if we see either of them again this season, which sucks but is what it is. AP has basically said Gibson is out and he started to lay the breadcrumbs on McCoy in the post game mini-pod last night and hinted that agents are basically telling him not to play again and risk his health.

But do they return? I think it’s pretty certain this point that Gibson is not coming back this year. Rumors are surfacing that McCoy won’t either . . .

Nothing is certain with the usual lack of info from Heupel. We just don’t know when these guys will get back. And I’m not beating up on the kid, because he’s young, has been thrown into the fire and I know he’s drinking from a fire hose, but I hope we get McCoy back soon because Ty Redmond is going to get picked on ad nauseum after what every coach in the SEC saw yesterday.
