Again, just to clarify my posts. I thought Butch had made the decision that JG was done after watching him go down on that sack, and that's why McBride went in. If he's still evaluating whether JG can go, then it wouldn't have hurt to take a timeout and put in a walk-on to handoff a few times or run wildcat.

My biggest issue now is I don't think JG should be playing when he can barely walk.

Totally agree. If we had issues protecting him prior to that hit, putting him out there again with any limited mobility makes zero sense.

The other thing is it's common to tape up an ankle after it's been evaluated and send a kid back out to see if it's something he can play through. This is super common.
