I'm pretty sure he was a surpreme talent back in the day.
I know of the guys who couldn't pay the NBA or any other brand to make their jersey.
I guess everyone can't be as awesome as me.

I'd say most people on here have a sense of humor, including me, but if you are going to tell jokes, at least make them funny. Regurgitating the sarcastic spew of attacks on UT basketball, it's players, and coaches gets old.

Wow, it's not too often you see Griff outside if a thread spamming his blog. Not too surprised to see him post more uneducated, hypocritical nonsense.

Speaking of nonsense, why don't you actually point out the part of his post that doesn't make sense or is uneducated. He said that the kid turned down a scholly (true), is a good shooter (true), and is respected by his teammates (true). I'm all for attacking idiotic posts, but blind attacks on Griff because you don't like him linking to his blogs is ridiculous.

and 4.9% don't have a problem with him, we are just realistic and realize he probably won't warrant a scholarship. As with most of my comments about the basketball program these days, I hope I am dead wrong and the kid is All SEC

Spot On.

From what I can tell, this is another "Bradshaw" type situation. Everyone wants to root for the hometown boy, regardless of his true abilities. However, due to their high-hopes, they are somewhat blinded to his true potential and caliber of play.

Skylar will see some playing time, but I agree with the 4.9% Emainvol quoted. I'll be rooting for him, but I doubt he will be an All Sec performer.

This is what I refer to as "The Rudy Syndrome"

I bought a pair of Starbury shoes.
Total crap.

I believe most would know him as Stephon Marbury, and not by his clothing brand name of Starbury.
I bought mine for $12 and they were worth about that. I play basketball competitively only every other week and I didnt have the money to buy another $100 pair after my old ones busted and I havent had a problem with them. They were made for inner city kids that couldnt afford regular ones anyways not for people like you

I didn't mean to strike a nerve with ya! Sorry.

I play 2-3 times a week. The shoes held up, but they were NOT comfortable. I had blisters from wearing them. I realize they were made for inner city kids, but they sold them at the local Steve and Barry's so I figured I'd give em a try.

I also do not buy the $100+ shoes. But I will also not pay $14 for a pair anymore.

Again - Not trying to offend anyone. Just voicing my thoughts on em. I think its actually pretty cool that while he gets a bad rap on the NBA Stage, he makes sure the less fortunate youth have a name-brand type shoes. He doesn't take advantage of his Star-Power and charge ridiculous amounts of money for an average pair of shoes.

His ceiling is probably Terrence Oglesby with slightly better defense, because no one can possibly play defense any worse than Terrence Oglesby.

Who would you say is worse, defensively speaking: Oglesby or Hopson?

Oglesby. Hopson can actually play defense when he tries, Oglesby couldn't guard Helen Keller on his best day, and I say that knowing full well she has been dead for 40 years.

Here's a link. I don't want you to be out of the loop on something a young kid knows about.

Welcome to Vodafone

Very educational,,,, I have done limited international travel but was not up to speed with this,,,(using web phone only) do you have to get a whole new phone or can you use your existing blackberry and use them as an international carrier? this is partially tongue in cheek and partially curiosity.

Had me fooled.
I thought it was because she was a woman.

She could throw one hell of a no-look pass, though.

You have to get a new phone, in this case, through Vodaphone. Or, even better, is you could purchase a Global Blackberry (Storm) and get the global package which includes voice/data usage. The beauty of it is that you don't have to stay on the global plan for a certain amount of time. You could just get the global plan for the time period you would be overseas, and chance back when you get back to the states. This isn't considered using Vodaphone as your international carrier, but you may be roaming off of their network.

This is great! I have a blackberry curve now, but would switch to the storm or similar updated unit and only for the time I travel overseas with the international package. Got it, thanks.
