McBee made #5 on ESPN top ten plays

Yes, yes, and yes. Before you start calling someone else illiterate, you continue to demonstrate that you know absolutely nothing about basketball. Steals and defensive rebounds is an excellent stat, as well as blocked shots to indicate defensive play. Turnovers is an excellent stat to reflect bad decisions. Shooting percentage is an excellent stat for poor shot selection. All stats combined reflect effort. Until you have any inkling as to anything you are talking about, you really just continue to make yourself look completely stupid with your comments.

HAHAHA. you are so moronic. None of those stats tell even close to the whole story. If you make 2 steals a game but you give up 4 layups gambling for a steal, thats not good defense. Turnovers dont tell half the story. If ive got a wide open teammate for a lay up and you get your shot blocked because you are selfish, that is worse than a turnover. A better indication of effort and defense would be the amount of points your guy scores on you. When the guy cant even get a shot off until you come on the floor and then scores 8 straight points in the blink of an eye, you havent played good defense. All of which are examples of the great trae golden.+/- is by far the best stat and none of you will post it. Im confident that it is because trae golden's is terrible.

acting like McBee is a shutdown defender is ridiculous. He gives good effort but you're not going to rely on him to shut down anyone's PG

The only thing you should be confident about is that you are a complete fool. I'm not going to waste any more time having a discussion with someone who should be debating with a 1st or 2nd grader who is on the same level as you are mentally. Making a continuing argument that stats are meaningless and that McBee is better at the point than Golden only serves to continuously verify your complete stupidity.

Your opinion means nothing clearly. To continue to argue that a guy is playing well when it is easy to see that he isnt is dumb. Trae goldens stats are not impressive. They are better than mcbees, but stats dont tell much of the story in this case. There are so many areas of the game in which stats do not and cannot measure and those are the areas in which mcbee is playing solid and golden is killing us.

We are comparing one guy to another. Simply giving good effort and using decent technique is all it takes to play better defense than golden is playing.

keep thinking he's our best option

I simply think that McBee an Golden should change roles. Both would get the same amount of minutes, we would just have mcbee bringing the ball up, and golden scoring. Which is what he was known for and why he was a highly touted recruit. We dont need a scoring point guard on this team.

Wait a minute, after you said for us to look at the stats, and you see that Golden's are better than your kin, all of a sudden stats don't mean anything in this case. Seriously, just give up, you look like a freaking idiot.:eek:k:

I know you're obviously not very smart. But how is it hard to understand that Golden leads the team in assists? If anything, he's been a pass first, shoot second point guard.

No. You look like an idiot with a kindergarten level reading comprehension. My argument has been consistent. The only stat I told anyone to look up was +/- and noone has posted it yet. I say there is no stat for defensive and everyone is just beside themselves. STEALS STEALS STEALS!!! Well a guy is in the game for 50 defensive possessions and gets 2 steals. Great. What di he do the other 48 possesions. How many times did he gamble for steals and put the defense in a bad position in order to get those to steals.

He leads the team in assists, he leads the team in bad decisions and hes up there in bad shots.

How do you keep tally of bad decisions? Hate to go all tvls75 on you, but I'm going to need proof.
