IF WE BEAT KENTUCKY, what bowl do you think we get?

We would pack the house in the MCB and it would be more fun and a bigger challenge.
I would love liberty because I ive in Memphis, but it is against C-USA team, so not as fun I guess.

I think Tulsa may be a bigger challenge than GT/UVA, but I'm pulling hard for MCB, and I think that's what happens if we beat the 'Cats. Let's just take care of business this weekend. Closer it comes, the more nervous I get. High stakes and all that.

Seeing as last year the MCB was the 3rd most watched bowl game, only beaten by the big 2... they will do whatever they have to, to make sure they get us again..

Despite our recent troubles, UT is still a national product. And where ever we end up you can bet we will be hand picking our opponent.

It's not what the question is asking, but I picked the Music City Bowl because that's what I'd rather go to.

Nashville > Memphis.

First of all, GT isn't exactly locked into the MCB.

Second of all, why the hell not? We'd smoke Tech.

I won't get into the "Who would win" discussion, but GT's offense is pretty legitimate and would not be fun to defend.

Think what you want, though... I personally would love to watch GT play Tennessee, but it is a hard time to gameplan for and Paul Johnson is an amazing coach.

In-season, I totally agree. GT's offense is legit and I don't want to defend it. In a bowl, I can't disagree more. How many touchdowns has the GT offense scored in three bowl games under PJ? The enemy of the option is time, which is why they're an awful in-season opponent and the best possible bowl opponent. I mean no disrespect, but I think the numbers bear this out.

We need a bowl victory. Have you noticed our record in the bowl games these past 10 seasons? 2005 & 2008 we didn't make a bowl appearance. We lost to Va. Tech, UNC, Maryland, Penn State & Clemson. We beat A & M & Wisconsin & Michigan.
A bowl victory would help us feel better in the off season. To complete the season, with a victory for once. I prefer us to get redemption against UNC but if not, I want to avoid Houston in the Liberty Bowl, avoid Va. Tech, and Ga. Tech in the MCB.
UNC State would be boring because that is our first opponent next season.

Exactly. Give a team a month to prepare for the option and it is much easier to defend.

Georgia Tech has lost their last six bowl appearances, all but two by more than one score. Losses are to Utah, West Virginia, Fresno State, LSU, Iowa, and Air Force, respectively.

In those bowls, they've been outscored 192-97.

Even though we're not the best team, I would not be afraid of playing Georgia Tech.

How many points do you think Tennessee can put up with 10 possessions?

Hope FSU smokes the Gators and we get the nod for the Gator Bowl.

Send the Gators up north to Nashville or Memphis.

If LSU and Bama both end up in the NC game, it is possible for us to end up in the Chik-fil-a bowl. I realize that is not very likely, but I would love to see us end up there.
