Your boy is a douche who didn't even tell his players. on the bright side he won't have to use as much Chapstick in weather friendly California.

He also won't have to deal with POSes like yourself who'd rather have a guy that got in trouble with the NCAA. While I'll not wish poor things on my university, it's difficult for me to not say I won't enjoy it when Cuonzo does better at Cal next year than we will be this year.

The guy is making millions of dollars coaching basketball in the SEC.

Shouldn't have signed up for the big time if you can't take the heat CCM. Seriously, he's not the guy we need to match up with Donovan and Calipari. He doesn't even know when to call timeouts much less design a decent inbounds play.

You give Calipari or Pearl this team had this year and you're making lots of noise. You could barely hear Cuonzo, or his teams.

You're the biggest Cuonzo crotch sniffer outside of BTO, and you may even have him beat for that award. You're probably happy your boy got out of here just to turn it around on other UT supporters.

Ok. What are we in the third grade? I supported him and he did overachieve 2 years and meet expectations the other. I'm sorry I didn't jump over him for not winning every single game. I'm not sad or mad he left. I do think he was a good coach but not great. I think we can hire better . But we can do a lot worse. That's what some can't seem to fathom.

He won more than he was supposed to. Ran a clean program I always said recruiting was not great but ok. They offered to make him about 8th in the league in pay when he should have been fourth after Bruce. His wife was harassed and the the dumb a. petition. Not surprising he left.

Hahaha what? You have to be kidding...

The dude didn't let his AD know he was involved in the search until he told him he was leaving this morning. Took Hart by surprise and left Hart to handle the players. That's a douche move. I've lost a lot of respect for CCM over the last 2 hrs as more and more comes out.

Keep telling yourself he overachieved. I have a 2012-13 CBB publication that had us ranked preseason top 30. We were embarrassed on our home court in the NIT to an 8 seed. If that's overachieving you have standards that are beyond mediocre.

Seriously, this needs to stop. The board has turned into middle school class today. Discuss with some freaking class.

I already didn't care for him as a coach and now his character is even questionable. Good riddance!

I think Cuonzo is a great coach, and I loved how we played and where we were headed. I'm bummed out today. The players seem to support him, though, even still. JRich just said: "coach had to do what he had to do."

I dunno.:dunno:

So he gets a commit from a 7'2" player yesterday knowing full well he was going to leave...leaving the kid high and dry. Good riddance.

What would expect a player to say? "Yeah, he's gone!"

Edit
My response to Mccrae saying Cuonzo wouldn't leave a few weeks ago.

Good Coach not great but good, good role model, cared about his players, players stayed out of trouble, showed his players how to become men. I think we had a WINNER in Coach Martin. Best of Luck to you and your family.

And he doesn't even tell his players bye?

Hmm No the 7'2 guy announced his commitment to Cal about same time Martin said he was leaving. UT paid for Martin to go to Arizona and interview for the job and flip the kid.

No. I believe the kid is going with him. Not high and dry. My guess is he didn't know it was official yet.

One publication who was taking into account Maymon playing had us top 30. Whoo hoo. Maymon didn't play and we met expectations. I said surpassed two year and met them once. They met them that year.

What about every single poll and publication. Including the ones that count (coaches) (Media) that picked us 11 or 12 of 12 his first year. He overachieved. Tjis year not ranked at all. Won 20+ and made the Sweet 16. Overachieved.

Dummies like you are why we need a new coach and may not be able to attract a top level coach. Everyone but some of the "fans" know he met or surpassed expectations each year but got no respect.

Haha...so he's stealing commits on our payroll. This keeps getting better.
