I'm starting to wonder if we will see JRM on the field again this season.

They are waiting and giving him one final time. Shoulders don't heal well man. I knew after the Ohio game I should prepare myself for no JRM. Without surgery, hard to play football with instability.

Kirkland is more important than JRM because of who plays behind each of them.

Jumper tries.... but he just doesn't have enough physically.

Why in the hell would we insert Coleman Thomas in a lineup that is set and playing well. My memory of him this year he is flat on his back looking up at the defensive player that just pancaked him. Ok backup but should not start period. Too light, not quick and not strong enough.

He's a good player that played injured for the team early in the season. Chill.

Don't be shocked if Hurd is also out. Should be interesting to see how Kelly and Fils Aime handle the spotlight.

Get the icy hot out and play
that's the problem...tried playing injured for 3 games. word i got was his ankles were actually black and blue.pretty damn good effort imo. he's good to have and our OL will continue to develop and many feel it takes time for lineman to develop as a unit. we're getting there brick by brick ! GBO ! PS....i'm referring to c.thomas

In Butch's press conference on Monday, he said they were discussing "options" with JRM. To me, that's code for "he's considering season ending surgery." I think we've probably seen the last of JRM playing for the Big Orange, and I hate that his final season has gone like this. I wish him the best of luck in the pros.

CBJ just said on Vol Calls That Kirkland was out this week. TFWIW

I'm not completely convinced that Kirkland won't play. Just a few hours before that, he said he wouldn't make a call on him until Friday. Unless Kirkland just fell out during practice I can't see Butch changing his mind on his status that quickly. Is Butch pulling a McElwain here? We desperately need Kirkland for this game and Butch knows it. The last running QB we faced, Kirkland was very instrumental along with JRM in shutting him down.
