I know Thomas hasn't played well this year but it is nice to have depth. You never know when someone might go down. Would be great to have DK Jr. back.

Butches words were "he's playing at a different level recently and we are going to see how much of a beating his body can take."

sounds like he is healing up.

He may be healthy but I'm not sure how wise it is to disrupt what you have going now

Is Austin Smith still injured as he came to the program as an Outside Linebacker, but I know they moved him to End............but why ?

Why can't we have ole Stevie Bob, 4th string tight end that plays on kickoff coverage get hurt. The three players already injured (Sutton, JRM, DKJr) and now Hurd are all conference or even all American type players. Next man up, I guess.

I think having DK back could make the atm game for us. Then get our secondary to play a few notches better and we will be ready to rumble.

I'm starting to wonder if we will see JRM on the field again this season.

I doubt JRM makes it back, but if he does, I doubt he will be anywhere close to 100%. As for Kirkland, I hope they don't rush him back and we lose him for the rest of the year. Still a lot of football left. If he's not 100% ready, I don't rush him. Maybe Bama but it might be best to bring him back after Bama if necessary.

Some players never get back to 100% after high ankle sprains, if Kirkland's 90% healthy it would be better than a healthy Jumper, wouldn't it?

Damn. If Kirkland is also out, Shoop will need to bring his A++++ game.

Praying the magic continues.

It's always some damn game against Ohio or Air Force or some other pathetic program that costs us these great players.

The kid looked pretty promusing at Lb.
probably more to do with the fact that UUT loses 3 DEs assuming Barnett goes ppro. Lewis, Barnett and Vereen. He played LB last year and now riding pine. makes no sense

FWIW, I think JRM is done for year. Butch playing all wierd with his status
