Maybe we like a dictator?

The posse comitatus act prevents the feral govt from using the military as a police force outside of a national emergency. A governor has the power to use their NG to assist police.
I understand.

It sounds like you are in agreement that the NG being sent in isn't illegal but it is illegal to use them to act as police. Is that correct?

This might need vetting but I "think" the NG can only be brought in to augment police actions by request of the state unless it's something that is expressly federal, like when they were used in CA for defense of ICE facilities. It's my understanding DC is under the federal umbrella from the outset so that caveat isn't in place.
May very well be the case. I honestly do not know enough about the dynamics to comment on the rules.

Yes. A governor can but not POTUS

I’m old enough to remember when you posted this just a few hours ago. The PF has got you trolling yourself on the same day. I wonder what AI thinks of that?
This had nothing to do with the subject matter so you proved his point

So there were no monetary motivations? About 45% of the members were slave-owners. Did that play a role in what they were in Philly to advocate for? I certainly think it did. Why set up a system where they would benefit more than most? Think there was any thought given to economic factors of the late 18th century?

Later on we got the 3/5th compromise. Do you any thoughts on what motivated this? Does it establish a pattern of how our government has been constructed?
I believe the 3/5's Compromise was the measure that most benefited slave states. How senators are allocated didn't benefit them. Look at population by state in the 1780's.

Thanks, that post was in response to this comment. But you’re sweet for stepping in. Keep up if you’re going to cut in and dance.
Yes, that was the "his point" I was referring to, brainiac. This post proved it yet again

So 5 years of Trump repeating this, was in fact a lie?
Actually trying to score points with what Trump says doesn't really work on me as I'm no fan. If it's actually legal then it's legal (or not) regardless of Trump's ruminations on the matter.

Sorry, no reverse UNO applied. Ole boy stated he’s only here to “lulz” while using AI for his thinking.
That is just an argument that he does the same thing, not that what he said about you was incorrect. You'll get it in a few hours

If you're no fan, seems like it would be easy to say that statement from him was a lie

Or correct, but you knew that. Many times you’ve chirped and cried on the topic of choice and my stance. Or calling out yours.

We don't live in a democracy. The US is a Constitutional Republic so....
Funny how libs try to twist Trumps words when he is talking about crime. He is saying people might want him to be a dictator on crime. Ole Biden talks about fighter jets on Americans and it meant something different

Here are the dots i am connecting in the way I understand them.

It isn't illegal to send the guard outside DC. You aren't sure what the NG's orders are in DC. And if the NG is sent to another city or state, you don't know if they will act as they are in DC.
So, there isn't an illegal aspect to what is known. You are more so concerned with illegal activity on what might be.

Is that accurate.

This would not be any better haha

Actually I was trying (and will continue) to keep anyone's fascination with Trump out of it. Again, it's legal or it isn't in DC under POTUS purview. Do you have any factual insight on the legality? If not what you're seeking I'm sure can be found with more partisan types than I.

Your post are cute, a grown man (assuming you’re a man) trying to troll thinking he’s intelligent to only use AI.
AI will replacing us both, eventually… but hey, if you think you can effectively counter-point and show it up, be my guest.

Considering that it's Trump that is making the current claims, why wouldn't his previous claims be relevant to the validity of those current claims?
