I was going to say he got rid of a lot of pressure tonight. There's no way Pearl getting hired by Auburn yesterday didn't at least add a little of that pressure. Speaking of pressure, I'd like to see how Dave Hart reacted. You know he was sweating out having to have Pearl hired away and Cuonzo one and doneing the next day.

Glad he took out the starters to get them an ovation, and also get the other guys in there.

Anyone see the hugs and high fives from Zo to coaches and players on the sidelines?

Completely off topic freak but what do you think about our white shorts? That orange spray coming off the side has got to go man! We look like a bunch of sissy girls out there with those girly shorts! Come on man! We are in the tournament and they are gonna show up with the lady vols shorts!? Lol that has to go bro! Oh yeah...as an after thought...nice win haha

I think you're confusing "relaxed" and "quiet". Martin has a reputation as a fierce competitor, or at least he did when he was playing. I doubt that has changed. Ask Mike Finely how relaxed Martin. I'm fairly certain he still might have nightmares of Martin shutting him down completely in college.

Seniors played with passion. Solid effort. Richardson played like a man possessed in the second half. That dunk was the turning point. It was a boxing match and we clearly wore them down.

props to Iowa tho... They played well. Their bench almost beat us. That's something to be commended. Hope the HC's kid gets better soon. Prayers to him and the family.

I honestly think the bench played a big role for Iowa because U.T. stuck with the scouting report. Stop Marble and you stop Iowa, if Woodbury and Jok beat you, well then good for them.

Way to go big Orange!

Counzo called that timeout with Maymon on the floor in the lane so fast it was redicilous! It definitely saved 1 possession and got us to overtime.

Well it was the ordained colors of ORANGE AND WHITE...figured the ritual opossum sacrifices could be skipped by the usual doomsday traditionalists :cray:

Wish he would show this side more often. It's ok to smile and be happy and also show energy and excitement like he did in game
