Sad for the kid, good for us though!

How is this kid? Hopefully someone good will pick this guy up. Absolutely uncalled for on SC's part!

Well, it depends. If he's like 230, and muscle bound, he could work. But if he's like 185-190 pounds, not a chance he succeeds. Or a very minimal chance.

He's 208, but he looks pretty stout on his pics. Not sure we want to go after him though.

And Davis will not play linebacker either.... He was recruited as a safety.

This kid was recruited to play at South Carolina as a safety.

Plus, he had offers form Georgia Tech, OK state, plus others, so it's not like Carolina was the only major school recruiting him.

spurrier is a dick. obviously we all already knew that. but i hope this kid finds a good school to go to and finds success there too.

Withdrawing a scholarship....is this situation any different than what we did with Boyd & Petty?

Were Boyd and Petty, both, not told that their scholarsip would be honored? This kid will be a very solid player wherever he ends up. If Monte has went to visit him, UT must be just as desperate as SC VolsRule.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that Kiffin told both that they would honor their scholarships but that they most likely wouldn't play at all in his system. Plus, UT's situation is totally different considering the fact that UT started over when they hired Kiffin. Spurrier has recruited this kid the whole way.

Spurrier needs to be re-evaluated mentally...that Iowa steamrolling in the Outback Bowl may have in fact done him in....

This guy once was a wrecking force in the SEC, and put UF on the map...but he is so out of touch with reality it is almost sad...

IIRC neither one had their scholarship revoked. They were just advised UT may not be the best place for them
