May bring my 5-year old down Friday to watch Vols hoops, spend the night and watch football game Saturday morning..... If I'm patience what can I expect to pay for tickets (need 3) at both games? I want good seats for the little guy......

He's turning 6. He's already a die-hard VOL!

scalpers were giving them away yesterday and I do not think next week will be any better. I would expect to pay no more than $10.00 a piece for football. Basketball may be a different story.

I still would love to see a packed house. I know a lot of fans want to send a message by having bad turnouts but when the visiting team can take over neyland it effects the players and makes our "die hard VFL" fan base lose cred

Yes sometimes ticket holders on here will give them away here if they are not able to use them :good!:

There is no stronger statement, no action that immediately gets attention, than not filling the stands at Neyland. It doesn't mean you aren't a fan. I agree, players deserve our support. But not showing to games is the most effective and quickest way, hands down, to indicate support for a regime change.

I hope you can get great tickets for the little guy. My nephew, whos mom is an ND fan and dad is a Michigan fan, is also a big UT fan. He's only gonna turn 4 this december. But he also considers me his best friend and because I'm a huge UT fan, he of course followed suite. I just wish we had a better coached team because its rough watching games with him and watching him get so upset, to the point of crying, because were losing and playing bad while the other teams have their way with us. Thats why I hope we get rid of Dooley after this season and get a coach that can actually coach so I can justify spending the time and money to drive from northern indiana to take him and my wife to game.
Again goodluck in search of your tickets, hope you can get some great ones and hope the little guy has the time of his young life!

I have a feeling I'm going to pay more for basketball tickets..... Says a lot about the state of our football program--:hmm:

I am sorry but-----4 and 6 year olds aren't "Huge fans, Die hard Fans" Really. You gotta understand the game to be that------not 4 & 6 yr olds. Tenn today, LSU tomorrow----"I like the Purple". And--Die hards have to be OLD enought to remember the WINNING.

I agree with your premise. That being said, my son has been able to sing the Rocky Top chorus since he was a little over 2, has orange clothes out the wazoo, knows daddy will be watching the UT game every Sat and asks if TN is winning (unfortunately we usually know my answer), and every time he gets something orange (gumball, bouncy ball, shirt, etc) he says "just like TN." He's 4 and half. I prob won't take him to a game for at least a few more years but he always wants to do what daddy likes an even if we(all of us) are from TN etc, emulating us are why kids end up becoming diehards later in life and know why orange and blue never go together and crimson is the devil's favorite color...

If you really care THIS much about THIS subject you should seriously re-examine your life.

We had 2 Bama fans sitting next to us at the UT/Bama game that got their tickets for $20 per ticket with seat backs. Which is absolutely absurd for that game.

Funny note, they were the epitome of bandwagon fans. They had been Bama fans for 3 weeks, went to college in Tennessee, had no idea who any of the players were, and didn't even know the rules. But they were dancing, cheering, and being complete a$$hats. So, they were the typical Bama fan...

If you pay more than $5 to get into the football game, you probably over paid.
