When Pruitt gets let go at the end of this season (2-8) He will go back to Tuscaloosa and shape up that defense. Saban will get some stud transfers for offense and Bama will be a complete monster again.

Meanwhile here, Brian will have a choice to make. He'll still only be a sophomore in 2021 with a new coaching staff coming in. JG will play most of the rest of the season as a starter. And i think he'll be back too.

I get it. It’s hard to wrap your head around that a coach would put personal feelings ahead of a team. Especially when that coach has millions of dollars at stake. However it happens. Kirby did it with Fromm and the effects of that decision are showing up now. Last week Alabama curb stomped them and I’d have a hard time believing that would’ve happened with Justin Fields at qb and now Georgia gets to watch Ohio State compete for a NC as a result of THAT decision.

I just went to his social media and the kid is a normal kid. Actually, he seems to be very selective about what he posts, which is far more mature than most his age. Hope he gets his shot. Just tell him to quit being a contortionist on the field. We don't want him hurt.

I’ve tried. That’s how he plays. He doesn’t fear anything. In fact his senior year I asked him how he felt about playing Alabama every year before he committed. His response: “Screw Alabama! I ain’t scared of a rank!”. But you’re right. He does need to learn that the best ability is availability. He’s just never gotten hurt before and last year WAS a freak accident that he’s likely to never see happen again

Ben McKee is Swain’s sidekick and the podcast host of RTI. They’re in tight with Austin Price. I think the Sports Animal gets their info from Callahan. So this was more common knowledge it seems.

questions

1. Is it speculation or you stating fact that CJP is undermining the progress of players? If so this is CBJ all over again.

2. CJP/CFP hired Chaney to run the offense, is he not “running the offense”?

3. Since CJP is now coaching the Dline will he turn the offense over to Chaney?

I’m asking those of you that are speaking as if you have knowledge of the players and the internal politics of our 2-2 football team.

Why isn’t he an option and why does he need to move on? When he played last year he was the best QB on the team. He dealt with two concussions. He was much better IMO than anyone else on the team. If he’s mentally healthy give him a chance. He was a playmaker with his arm and feet. The teams energy level was through the roof when he was in the game.

I don't understand why people don't listen to what the coach says. Mauer missed days because of Covid and then had a hamstring issue which limited him when he was out there. The fact he went in the scrimmage last night is good. We came into the season with two realistic QB's and we now have four. I look for Mauer and Bailey to start getting PT.

Why two realistic QB's. Simple, Bailey not having spring hurt and then throw in missing becuse of Covid he wasn't ready. And Hill left the team ,and Mauer as stated above was not healthy so that left two.
