Protocol allows return to play after neuro-cognitive eval. I hope he plays. It was really amazing how much they limited JG and just wanted to hold onto lead.

I think he plays next week unless had ligamentous damage to C spine area after an MRI .

Unsure whether he actually had concussion anyway, didnt appear that way

Concussion is a clinical diagnosis mostly anyways..will have to see what UT docs say.

I bet Jeremy Pruitt wants to give Alabama a good game...look what SC did to UGA today. You can win any day, crazier stuff happens. I was amazed with d line today. Have no idea what changed but seemed to have a push. held leading sec rusher to under 20 yards.

I see both sides of the argument with whether or not to let Maurer play against AL. For me, a glaring statistic, he's started in two games, left with injury in both. I don't know what that means, not sure you can overlook that, if the goal is to get to a bowl game......

I'm thrilled with our DL too while also being cautiously optimistic. They might have looked good because they played against an inferior OL.

If Maurer can’t play, give JT the ball to start vs Bama.

Outside of the throw to Keyton, JG didn’t do anything special yesterday that any QB couldn’t do.

Just goes to show when your QB throws 4 INT and fumbles once it effects the whole team and the dynamics of game. The guy that touches ball every play on O. Worst game of his career passed 51 times, he's a game manager that usually throws around 20 passes a game can't play from behind. Another UGA choke year.

I don't get all this Maurer praise...his play was horrible.
You know, just crazy stuff like hitting receivers in stride, not making them slow down and come back for the ball, being able to run for first downs, not holding the ball forever for fear or ruining stats because of an incomplete pass, stuff like that.

Just generally being a good freshman quarterback that generates excitement around him and raises the level of the offense's play.

Next question?

BTW, we really don't even know it was a concussion, right? The way his hand went to the back of his neck tells me that initially it was a stinger, or rather a jammed neck. Happened to me in high school, I landed just like that. Walked away, never had any lingering effects.

Towel over his head and the training staff never gave him his helmet back. Everything screams concussion. Sure we don’t know for sure but it’s pretty telling what is likely to be the issue.

Also there’s the fact Pruitt said he’s going thru concussion protocol

It could’ve been worse for 18. He immediately grabbed the the back of head/neck area. Hope it was just precaution.

The 2 interceptions were horrible but that happens with a freshman. Are you saying his entire play was horrible? Perhaps you have something else to say and just chose not to say it. I'll try not to read anything into your post.

So you're saying Muschamp's game plan was right all along, make Fromm beat you? Turns out he's not all that per you and Muschamp, now he and his team knows it as well.
