Do they have a better OL they are reinstating also? If not, he may be running for his life the rest of the season.

Im wondering, what did he do to get a four week suspension?

id almost bet that freshman still starts this week, but im sure theyll think they will have some advantage over us with Mauk considering hes 2-0 against us or 3-0 I dont remember but I think as long as their defense doesnt get the best of us we will be just fine, not too worried about this game

EDITT: they are on bye so nevermind, but im sure they will have Mauk ready in time for us

Mauk is worse than the dude they've got now, really. Think how bad they have been and now put in a worse QB. Makes me laugh.

Mauk has played like a Heisman Candidate when he plays Tennessee...

Just another reason that these "wheegunnawhinOUT!' Goobers need to consider...

Not vs Tennessee he's not. He's owned us two years running. Beating Mizzou for Tennessee just got much more difficult.

Yeah, in the past, but last year's team didn't play like this year's has up to this point. The record may be similar, but Mauk won't be on any "player of the week" lists after he plays the Vols this year.

Figured this was coming at some point. They have had no offense without him. He makes them better and was really hoping he wouldn't be reinstated until after we played. Definitely made it a little more difficult with that D they have, the game in Mizzou and of course we have yet to show we can beat them.Mauk is very erratic as a passer, looks really good one minute and horrid the next. I'm sure we will get accurate and no interceptions Mauk when we play. Not what I wanted to hear. If anyone thinks this is nothing but a good thing then they haven't watched Mizzou play. They weren't lighting up the scoreboard with Mauk but they were still winning and he has done a good job at that. That offense has been a train wreck since Lock took over. He had a decent first game against SCe then nothing resembling any offense the last 3 games. He will make them better, not sure exactly how much but they are a better team with him at QB. .Fortunately it hasn't just been their passing game, they have not been able to get any type of run game either. But we have seen Mauk play and he is capable of having a good game. Hopefully it won't be against us.

Their defense is as good as any in the SEC again and he has a playmaker or 2 to work with. The game is at Columbia, Mo. We ain't just showing up and getting a win. Mauk, for whatever reason, plays better vs Tennessee historically than he typically does vs other teams. It's gonna be a challenging game to win, especially if it is a "field goal game"....hopefully Medley doesn't become a significant factor, that's no bueno for the Vols.
