I may be wrong but I think May's should have stayed made some NIL money and increased his draft stock. Honest question, do any of you think he would have left if he knew he would have been picked in the 6th round?

He doesn't have the quickness to play at tackle (especially at the next level) so he had to play inside. Better run blocker than pass blocker. Has accumulated some nicks over the years. Another year would have just added more wear and tear to his body. Given the offense that CJH runs, it likely wouldn't have showcased his abilities enough to justify coming back for another year.

Panthers aren't a bad landing spot for him.

Agree. If he could’ve gotten assurance from coaches that he’d be a Guard, then it would’ve made sense. He’s just not a true OT.

I wish Cade well and Congrats to him. I just wish he’d been less injury prone as a Vol…

I think he might have, he has trouble staying on the field due to injuries. He might want to take what he can get while he can get it.

Cade did a great job for us at right tackle last year, but he will play guard in the NFL. Playing out of position and missing time due to injury probably hurt his draft stock. He was wise to go to the NFL even as a late round pick.

Congratulations to Butler - glad his hard work was rewarded! Only downside is that I will have to become a raiders fan.

I wish Cade would have come back but his health was beginning to be a concern. Plus the tempo we play at can cause injuries to pile up on the big guys. Barring injury I see him being a solid starter at guard. I wish the Titans would have snagged him up. We need all the help we can get at Guard and RT and Mays is great at run blocking

But he has to go pro to get that 3rd round NIL money though.
