I have held my tongue long enough... we have to keep Bray in now... he is the future. That INT in the redzone ultimately deflated all chances of winning that game. That is the last thing you do in that situation... you HAVE TO PROTECT THE BALL. The line blocked well this game and he decided to take us out of contention.

That's the one positive for this entire game.

We kick a FG and we're down 7. It's the FL game all over. It's also why we didn't even attempt a throw before halftime when we had 9 seconds on the clock and a time out. CDD didn't spike it and give it one shot. He went straight for the FG. Simms is horrible. I expect Bray will play alot moving forward.

Yeah, Bray had one hell of a first series. He had more yards in penalties than anything else.

Delay of game is technically his fault, the others have nothing to do with him.

Simms is atrocious. Unbelievably bad. OP said it right, you have to protect the ball there and get points. We were down by 17, so even a field goal is acceptable.

He did this against Florida, too. INT in the end zone, kills the drive and chance of a win.

Just dumb playing.

The game was over after Alabama scored in four plays on the opening drive.

He should never have went for the fieldgoal. At that point we were still close enough to punt it and play field position. But we can second guess coaching all night.......

Simms isn't great but laying it all on him is not the answer. Yes, the interception in the endzone was the turning point, but Art Evans coverage of Julio Jones was more of an issue.

With our lack of depth we cannot afford to make mistakes... and that int wasnt even close the defender was given a gift... right in the bread basket.

His single coverage of one of the top two receivers in the SEC. I mean, yes, he got burned multiple times, but would it kill Wilcox to get some safety help on Julio?

I've never seen Simms have 5 straight penalties while under center.
