I say you might as well throw some balls his way against Buffalo before you get into the heart of the schedule. You need to see what you got. He was doing well during the summer. With Hunter out, we are going to need somebody on the outside. Milton has the most potential to be that guy.

Agreed. Unfortunately the coaches think Zach Rogers needs as just as many thrown his way.

It doesn't matter how tall he is, how high he can jump or how fast he can run, if he cannot do the one thing all good recievers do. Catch the d@mn ball....I know how you feel though Z. It is incredibly frustrating to see a guy with so much potential just standing there watching the game...If he could just learn to catch the d@mn ball...Every DC we play would be pulling their hair out trying to figure out what to do. If he could just learn to catch the d@mn ball...

Then why is Rogers playing? He has a very hard time catching the balls that are thrown hard or to a spot example see the Florida game. He has to get out there sometime and this week is as good as any other. Same for Devrin Young.

The fact that Z rogers is playing instead of Milton should tell you how bad MMs hands are.

The main reason Milton isn't playing is because he can't go 100% every play. So pretty much his stamina sucks

If he was that bad then wonder why he was recruited ?

He was a 4* rated athlete out of Florida that is 6'6" and runs a sub 4.5, that's why. He always was, and remains a project. If he ever gets it together, I could almost feel sorry for opposing defenses next year....almost.

Dooley has full confidence in Z. Rogers skills. He said that himself. He said there has never been any question about Z. Rogers ability. His probably was his durability. He can't stay healthy.

Wish I could give this multiple thumbs up. Do people think Dooley won't play who he believes are the best players to help the team win? Of course he will so the fact that Milton is not out there and is less likely to play than a injured former RB (i.e. Neal) should tell you everything you need to know about the coaching staffs confidence in Milton.

His hands arent the problem, here is an interview with him from last week explaining why he doesnt see the field that much:

"With me, it’s more of just conditioning, and being able to do it over and over again,” he said. “I can run three routes in a row super fast — you know, run ‘em perfect. But then when you start getting that fatigue, that’s when it's harder to run crisp, run your routes crisp still, come out of your breaks fast. That’s what I need to work on, just getting more reps and reps and reps, and getting my body ready to have that many plays.

“Receiver is so much different than what I was doing out there (in high school). I was just making plays. But at receiver, it has to be precise, and everything has to be on that timing and on that certain yard depth. It’s just more meticulous, and I’ve just got to get better at it."

Come on son, its not rocket science. If youve got the physical skills, you should be able to run to the right spot and catch the ball.

Dooley said Milton was very talented, but also very inconsistent. He said it's time he steps up considering he was an EE.
