I thought of him earlier. He did ok with the mess he came into at ole miss. Don’t think we should hire him as head coach but he could surely give insight into the future of ut.Stepped in and stabilized a Ole Miss program that was reeling from NCAA sanctions and probation and did a pretty good job. Would he be a realistic and good candidate for us to hire ?

I don’t think so. The parallel to draw from that scenario would be letting Steele be interim for a season, not hiring Luke. And I’m not saying I agree with letting Steele be interim for a season, just saying that would be the apples to apples equivalent.Stepped in and stabilized a Ole Miss program that was reeling from NCAA sanctions and probation and did a pretty good job. Exactly he’s a players coach those guys at ole miss played hard for him you could tell and he is a good recruiter he snagged some good talent at ole miss even with being on probation.Luke is a great O line coach, a great recruiter, and a great person. His players love him. He would be a good option.
Yeah no, not unless you’ve burned through a long list... at that point Steele is still probably a better option with better contacts.Exactly he’s a players coach those guys at ole miss played hard for him you could tell and he is a good recruiter he snagged some good talent at ole miss even with being on probation.
