Matt Darr--Another 2 Sport Stud

I know most of Vol Nation is consumed with the NCAA letter, but here's another bit of good news. We have a stud punter who is also shining on the field in track. Apparently he throws the shot as far as I can punt. . .

I love multi-sport athletes representing Tennessee, that is our heritage. In the early 80s I remember all the SEC RBs who were also "world-class" sprinters who would race at Tennessee and come in 4th as we took 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Our guys seemed to populate the Olympic teams in those days, maybe we will again.

You've obviously never been to a track meet because a shot is a ball not a stick.
