If Currie wants cool his seat a little, put up the money and bring this guy in... If he says no, throw some more bread his way... This guy is a superstar ready to explode.

He the best realistic candidate to me but he did say he is staying at Iowa when asked about TN. I'd take Norvell at this point he's the only one who at least has a shot to win big here

UTAD is too cheap to hire a coach with a big buyout imho. They sure as hell don't mind paying one out to Dooley or Butch though. Makes good business sense. :good!:

With the recent fallout? It would be a godsend. Think people were freaking out about $9 mil when $20 mil was at stake if Beverly had signed the damn MOU?

Campbell has stated he has no interest in the UT job. Gonna guess we hear a lot of that going forward. IMO, Currie needs to go before the new hire is made. The recruiting class is shot so forget the early signing I got period. Fire Currie, pay him his buy out them bring in Blackburn or Fulmer. Let the new AD make the hire. Everyone know Currie is dead man walking so why waste time pretending this is going to work out. Just get on with this and rip off the damned band aide.

Please hire Campbell. Please. I think he is a homerun hire. Multiple stops great success. Please let us not pass on this guy. His stops before a big time job is resembling Urban Meyer. Sometimes its not that hard. I have yet to see a real draw back other than money. Winning will fix the money issue. Please hire him.

Hes not ready, please... has wins against big time schools. Pay the buyout!!!

We aren’t getting any of the hot up and comers, would you take the job knowing your one of the hotter names on the market and you don’t get a call til after they ignored you to go for a retread with a sketchy past and that deal went down in flames. And that’s the only reason they are now wanting to talk to you, these people that made one of the hotter names on the market plays econd fiddle to a coach no one else wants or has wanted since being fired from the nfl

Ps I said before yesterday I didn’t want Campbell and I still stand by that, to me he is another butch jones and only slightly better than Schiano with 4 bad losses compared to 2 good wins

Never heard HIM state it. As far as the rest of your post, I don’t think the vast majority of the coaching fraternity has an issue with Schiano’s past...not that they wouldn’t use that in negative recruiting AGAINST US. :) I don’t think any candidate has a problem with Currie going after his hire. Just the carnage afterwards. This coming from someone lockstep with everyone not wanting Schiano and the questions. Currie is a fractured messenger and I don’t feel he will last. But we’re making a hire! This week! Maybe Fulmer or Blackburn can sell us after this mess settles...we’ll find out LATER!
