So you wouldn't be interested in a hire that lost to Central Michigan, Navy, Louisville, Iowa, Northwestern, Purdue, Colorado State, Minnesota, UAB and Louisiana Monroe ?? Because Saban seems like a good hire to most...

There isn't a coach doing more with so little than Campbell is doing, making that win over Oklahoma that much more impressive. Campbell did what Butch couldn't with a ton less talent. Matt has way more upside then most of the names being thrown around for the TN job

$9.5 mil buyout. His agent should be horsewhipped in the public square. If he leaves he has to pay back what Iowa State would have paid him. I've never heard any coach with that kind of deal before.

He's at Iowa State a few more yrs.

Eh, why the hell would we look at him anyways? It’s big name or bust. We’ve already had 3 “up and coming” coach failures in a row. You want a fourth?

Big name like Bobby Petrino who is hanging on to Lamar Jacksons coat tails, just to be at a .500 record currently? There are really no good big names out there who are available, have accomplished much at their program, and will coach here. There just aren't. Our best options would have been a Campbell or Scott Frost

Plenty of big names. Money talks. Even though it may seem like they are not available doesnt mean anything.

No, didn't Louisville just beat FSU at FSU. At least Petrino gets his players to play, more than can be said of Jones. Players got no want to.

He is .500 in a weak ACC, after Jackson leaves that team will be bottom of the barrel. He is an average coach with a ton of baggage

Ok??? Lol that is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. He won 11 games at Arkansas and Louisville long before he had Jackson. I guess that doesn’t matter considering the ton of success Arkansas and Louisville have had without him. Charlie Strong has one good year after Petrino and he is considered a good coach haha

Yeah, FSU was such a tough game.

why aren't people asking why Jimbo didn't have a QB ready to play if Francois (??) got hurt?
