At this point, it's a crap shoot if any of the coaches being mentioned can win in the SEC. Lets face it, there isn't that much out there. At least Campbell is a proven winner, and has proven he can win big games and develop talent. Very few of the names being mentioned like Kiffin, Frost, Mullen, Fleck, Brohm, have proven they can do that

It's a crap shoot no matter who you hire. Look at Michigan with Harbaugh. He's the one of the highest paid coaches in the country and he's never managed to finish better than 3rd in his own division.

The 2009 season was great for him, but does 1 good season mean Kiffin can develop talent? Crompton went from a 5 star high school recruit to playing in the CFL. That speaks for itself

Campbell sounds like a guy who's a pretty good coach but wouldn't have enough anything (experience, staff, recruiting) to compete with SEC dogs.

Since my son played for him, I can say with certainty that you better hope he comes your way. But I hope he doesn't.
