Alright. Done with the Peay game so looking ahead to UNC Asheville (Tuesday, 7:00 - FSN)

UNC Asheville was picked to finish 2nd in the Big South. They got a pretty young team (only 2 upper classmen) so not a lot of experience. They got dropped by Div II Brevard and then lost on the road for their season opener at Charlotte (70-86). I see this team being one of the weakest on our schedule and we should hammer 'em pretty hard. My buddy is pretty up to date on UNC-A and says UT should really bother 'em with their press due to the fact they aren't very deep. I believe they have a pretty decent guard but maybe that's it. Sounds good since Pearl isn't particularly happy with the press. Gives us more time to improve before the Paradise Jam and a potential Top10 matchup with Purdue and Robbie Hummel.

not unless they let him back on the team and give him a new right foot. I was really pulling for that guy when he was playing though.

It's unfortunate what happened to the big man. He took a lot of criticism during his time at UNCA. He had developed into a respectable and was painfully slow, but at least had some sort of career overseas based on shot blocking alone. It's great he's going to return for the 2nd semester and further his education.

Yeah. I was glad to hear that he was going to finish his education. The man couldn't play many minutes and took it hard. I remember when Tyler Hans dunked on him. Kind of pissed me off haha. I was hoping he'd make him eat that ball.

Kenny George should be applauded for his efforts. What he has to go through is very hard.
