Mass Effect 3 - Revving up the hype machine and what not

Alright I guess I shouldn't play the second on my roommates PS3.

Well the other alternative (depending on what system you're actually going to be playing 3 on) is -for both systems - bioware created interactive comics, telling a 15 or so min version of each game game - at least they did for the first one, not sure on the second.

One downloads them and then is given the game's main story arc and presented with the more major decisions made within the game. The player's decisions (/the outcomes) are then saved and used as the markers which the following game reads.

I only bring this up if time (or available system) is of a concern to you...each of these games tends to have anywhere from around a 30 (at best in the 20s) to 50 hour (if you're thorough) playtime. Some might not have the time available to spend 60-80 hours playing 2 more games on top of 3 (or might not want to put off playing 3 for so long).

If you're just concerned about playing the 2nd and 3rd game on PS3 without being able to play the first one though, the comic does a fairly good job of making up for it.

Anybody playing with the Kinect for voice commands?

I am....Not really all that fun to be honest. Unless you're in to shouting at the TV at 3am.

playing on the 360 and the having to swap discs so much is starting to get kind of annoying and really pulls you out of the game

Just started another war thrasher, soon 83 will come out of his trailer and give us a twelve page website stating how awesome the PS3 is.

Then a war it shall be! Unpack the Bluray™ Blasters, rockyvols. We'll need them to counteract their Xbox Live™ Lazerguns.

Pretty sure the use of WMDs like party chat was outlawed by the Geneva Convention, following the devastation it created in the War of PS2 and Xbox.

Thrasher is always up for starting a war. Rocky and I were dominating on BF3 Saturday night. I am a traitor no more.

Beat the game earlier tonight.

Honestly, i'm pretty dissapointed. The ending at least, not the rest of the game.

It's amazing to me how someone who could write scenes with such an emotional impact like the ones earlier in the game could come up with something like that.

Sadly, I purchased this game last Tuesday yet haven't popped the disc into my 360 yet because I'm so obsessed with The Show and I haven't beaten ME 1 or 2 yet.

Three days later and the ending still haunts me in my dreams. There better be some DLC to cushion this mighty blow.

Alright, so I've beaten the game and all that. Was a little disappointed with the ending compared to the rest of it (you know why), but it was still a monumentally great title. I only have on gripe: I never figured out how to up the readiness of the galaxy. Every system stayed at 50% the entire time, and because of that I got screwed out of 2 achievements. Anyone know how to do this? Am I just stupid?
