Masoli’s availability for UT in question

Either way, I'm sure the coaches are preparing for him. Personally IMO, I think it's all hype and he will play Saturday.

Well they want us preparing for two QB's and then they'll run Masoli out there. Coaches love these things and never tip their hand until pre game. The other kid has a live arm so it probably doesn't matter who they send out there. UT's defense will have their hands full either way.

Masoli wasn’t made available to reporters Tuesday. Mullins said potential clearance for the UT game will be based on a lack of symptoms and could come as early as Saturday morning.

So we won't know if he plays or not until just before the game evidently.

I feel like them playing him would be more in our favor than not. If he's recently concussed, he's going to be vulnerable to big hits and isn't going to be quite as sharp.

No doubt.. I thought Nutt was being cute at first until I read that. If he puked the day after it doesn't look good for him this weekend, or even the next couple weekends. That is a side effect of a serious concussion.

I am a doctor and if he is having symptoms after a head injury, then it is consider a, post-concussive syndrome. These symptoms can last for 7-10 days after the head injury. Now a days, the medical department treat head injurys very conservatively. I heard on Mike and Mike this morning that Jim McMahon is slowly losing his memory.

Play: Don't Play. Our players need to step up and play the best they have played all year and beat Old Miss.

GO VOLS!

they're not messing around with concussions anymore. if he's still showing symptoms, he won't play

UT has such a great history with backup opposing quarterbacks. 2001 LSU, 2007 LSU, 2008 UCLA... Those are just off the top of my head. Bring on Masoli.
