Marve and Kiffin?

Considering its a former starting QB who knows the entire playbook, some restrictions are justifiable. I think when Schaeffer transferred, they said he could go to any school that wasn't on UT's schedule for the next 4 years.

I don't think that it too much to ask. However, Shannon is trying to screw him over by denying him UT or LSU. I hope we don't get him anyway. Kid sounds like a crybaby to me.

I'm not fully clear why he can't come to UT or LSU. The ACC schools I get, but what gives with the SEC schools?

I read an article that the Miami staff was suspicious of him speaking to those schools before the season was over or without permission.

Couldnt he do what Shaffer did and go to Comm College play a year and open his recruiting back up?

UT doesn't need this attitude problem. Plus, his dad will be hassling the coaches every day about playing time.

I think Marve or someone on behalf of Marve initiated the contact. If this is true.

Personally I do not want him. I really feel like 1 of out 3 current QB is going to make a huge impact next year in a new system.

Agreed, most likely Coleman. He was Cut's favorite, and its not like Cut is a moron with QB's.

haha im new to the volnation here but...smokeytop lay off the grass man these qbs we got now are miserable

I don't see why its not possible. From the stories about Crompton getting all of the 1st team snaps in the offseason, its very easy to place blame on semi-poor play on Stevens and Coleman's part due in fact to lack of practice and cohesion with first stringers. Like Kif said in his first presser, competition is open, and he doesn't care what star a player is, or who was a starter last year. With some ample coaching, and a pro-style offense, Stevens or Coleman may be able to step in and be successful.

Also the way recruiting is going for QB's, it looks as though we're going to have to be stuck with one of those 3 unless something transpires quickly and is unforeseen in QB recruits.
