Terrible to support a coach who has taken U.T. to a sweet 16. It's going to be terrible for your argument if U.T. beats Michigan. Now, go ahead, you've all ready hit one talking point...now tell me how horrible the team is going to be next year.

No I'm not, I truly feel Martin is average to less than average coach. Most on here felt the same way prior to Thursday now all of a sudden all these moronic eat crow or I was wrong threads pop up.

Wrong, they beat a quality opponent like Michigan I will start to give him some credit. Beating teams you should beat doesn't get me all excited like you all. Talent wise, UT>Iowa, UT>Umass, UT>Mercer. Beat someone with better talent or close to equal and now you have done something.

I'm still finding it amazing that making it to the sweet 16 from the play in game is considered an easy road. 3 wins in one week, all against teams that have successful seasons. Awesome.

He wouldn't have been impressed that we beat Duke if it had gone that way either. "Worst Duke team in years." "No inside presence." "We had to outrebound then by 26 to have a shot."

He'll qualify any accomplishment to take credit away from it. Only now, when we are facing Michigan team that made the finals last season, is he even entertaining the idea of giving us full credit. You watch though, if we win, it will be because of something Michigan did/didn't do, and we played out of our minds.

Exactly, it will be "worst Michigan performance all year", "if we played 10 times, Michigan wins 9 (I love that one)", and finally "Ok he won, but I still think we suck next year".

Yes, that team did not squeak into the tournament like this one. This team has been hard to watch, this program under Martin has been hard to watch. Texas a&m twice or vandy games ring a bell to you? This team is more talented than that sweet 16 team
