Did anyone make it to see "We Are Marshall"? Just interested in your opinion of the film representing what our university has been through and is all about.

I just can't stand Matthe McCouanaghay anymore. His first few movies that I saw I liked. But now he gets on my nerves.

Also, I predict this is in the Pub in less than 3 more minutes.

I know a guy down here in Chattanooga, (Vince Carelli) whose dad died on that plane. He was an assistant coach.

you must have never seen dazed and confused. It was one of his earliest movies about high school kids in the 70s. He plays a dirty guy that graduated but is still hanging around high schoolers. GREAT movie, ben afleck (sp?) is in it too.

David Keith did the same thing during his hay day for the Vols. Too bad he's on the back burner. There is a UT helmet though on the set of CLASS in his house.

Too bad David Keith is the only person I can think of who is a bigger tool than McCuanaghey.(sp?)

IMO, a very good movie. Of course I, unlike most of VN, was a young adult when the plane went down so I remember when it happened well. It brought home the realization that the unthinkable had finally happened...a whole team wiped out in a plane crash.
By the way it's the only movie other than Saving Private Ryan we (Mama & me) ever saw where we couldn't say a word all the way home. Very quiet in the car. No comment seemed appropriate at the time.
