I'm not going to pretend I know much about Marshall football besides they have been very competitive under Doc. I did read this post from someone who lives in the area on another board. Not sure if there is anyt truth to it or not?

There’s a lot of stuff going on behind the scenes at Marshall that never gets talked about publicly. Holliday recruits a lot of questionable kids and the inmates end up running the asylum on a fairly routine basis. My dad grew up in Huntington and the people around there who are connected have been wanting him gone for a while.
