Marsalis Teague

i dont think he's a silent i think he's truly undecided... he publically says he's still committed to fla yet we know we have a serious shot along w/ Alabama of swaying him this one comes down to the wire.....

also just wondering where is Paris, Tn in relation to Knoxville if its close i think that really helps

Hooker just said he'd be shocked if Teague ends up at Florida. Thinks Alabama and UT are much more realistic at this point. I would go further and say I would be surprised if he signs with anyone but the Vols.

well thats not too close but it is closer than the alternatives.... gainesville seems like a long way if proximity to his family ends up playing a factor

Teague has not decommitted according to GVX.....

Not so fast....

If he is a silent commit to UT he probably will not decommit. It will probably all go down on NSD. I don't know if he is or not, but there are a few that think so. My guess is if he is a silent to UT, he will stay commited to FL until NSD and then he will sign with UT. This has happened before. Not sure why it happens, but it does.

Teague is going to Florida. Move on already.

Because he might be tired of the recruiting process and tired of a bunch of Type A coaches haunting his house and constant calls and because there's no cost/consequence to him for changing his mind on NSD. UF will be fine, he's staying in state so friends and family should be happy.

Look's real shifty. Not electrifying speed but does have some.

His speed, at least on tape, doesn't jump out at you. What makes him fast is, well, yeah - being shifty. He never hesitates to make any move - very decisive. He has those longgggg strides that make it seem as if he's not going fast, but in reality he's blazing. The kid's wayyy better than his 4.5 speed listed from the ATL combine. Gaddis has gone on tape as saying that Teague is "the fastest player he's ever coached." It was fun watching him and Eric Gordon on the field at the same time in the semifinals. That kick return on the highlight video is from that game.

Why do you (FL) want Teague anyway. Seems he will just get caught up in the mix of talent. Why anybody would go to FL without knowing how much PT or the possiblity of fitting into an offense that does not benefit a player for a NFL Career does not make any sense to me. What's more is the only reason FL is probably overly recruiting Teague or Brown is to keep them away from TN, AL or GA. Without TT FL would be an 8-4 or 9-3 team and not a NC.

This is exactly what I thought when I watched T. Pryor. I know that they are hardly comparable as players, but Pryor' s long strides make his speed deceptive.

On Tuesday evening, when asked via text message to update his status, Teague responded, "No I haven't decommitted. I'm just not exactly 100% sure right now."

Then on late Thursday afternoon, he had this to say, "I'm announcing my final decision Wednesday (Signing Day) at 12 (PM). No I have not decommitted. I'm just talking to my family members, making sure I have made the right decision."

When asked to put a number on his current status, Teague responded that his commitment to Florida is, "Right now, about 70%."
