If this has already been posted or discussed I apologize, but what will happen with Teague next year? With the large number and quality of recruits coming in at the DB positions, will Teague stay in the backfield or switch back to WR? Ill hang up and listen!

The WR position is pretty deep too. Not sure what he will play but he will need to step up his game if he wants PT. It is a good problem to have though instead of having to play players like Art Evans.

Not really. Hunter, Rogers, and Milton are only sophomores. Other than we have Rogers and the basketball player who transferred from MTSU. Then freshman Dallas and Arnett. Lots of talent, but you don't really know what you're getting from any of them.

Still think Teague stays at corner though.

I liked him at wide out.... there's nothing that says he can't do a little bit of recieving if he is a starting CB....

Four wide set with Hunter, Da'rick, Arnett, Teague.... nasty

He was by far our best cover corner last year. It will be Moore, JJ, Brewer, Teague starting next year.

This is barring any other off the field issues with Janzen.

We don't have single recruit coming in that played and for the most part held their own at corner in the SEC schedule like Teague did. I love the DB recruits we have. None of them have anything on their resumes compared to Teague.

Maybe one of them steps up and is great as a freshman and starts over eperienced guys on the squad - like an Eric Berry or Janzen Jackson. Those guys are few and far, and we had two at the same time recently. I'm reluctant to believe we get a third in a single 5 year span.

The two JUCO's have the best shot. They've at least got some experience against something better than high school opponents.

Except Eric Berry never not once had an off the field problem so if any of these picks ups are looking for a role model please lean towards Eric Berry who stays away from gas stations and bars.

So is Waggner out of the picture now or something. No one seems to be mentioning even though he was All-SEC and returned 3 of 5 INTs for touchdowns.

Byron Moore is an elite player.

Teague performed really well not having much time at the position. He has all the athletic tools necessary to be a good/great CB it will be interesting to see how he develops going into next year. He seems motivated and has the right attitude. Moore, Brewer, JJ, Teague with Waggner/Lanier as the nickel.

I think people are just enamored with our shiny new "toys", plus this is a Teague thread.

Nobody thinks Eric Gordon will push for playing time? I can see him being an elite corner if he gets the mental aspect of the game locked up.

Yea these posters are smokin something.... Starters will be Prentiss & Teague/ Lanier at corners, FS Janzen & SS Moore...... Brewer, Gordon, Randolph off the bench.....we will still be super young back there with our backups....

I thought he played well last yr when given the chance. Also, i like his attitude. This guy wants to K.O somebody. Physical.

This except I could see Brewer starting a SS if he continues to come along. I thought Prentiss was the man once he was moved to corner. I think Eric Gordon could push for PT at SS or Corner also. Maybe Dime PKG.

Be surprised if he goes back to WR. gonna run a lot of nickel and dime packages. Of the players coming in, Moore and Lanier are expected to help (assuming Lanier gets in). The others won't do much until well into the season if at all.

The good thing about our OL & DB's is that we have quality depth. So, all of them can get playing time and experience. This will keep our team fresh in the 4th quarter and in over time.
