Marsalis Teague to the Secondary???

Apparently very little, since he was going to FL, not Vandy before Kiffin got him.

He was a much better quarterback than defensive back..i say let him run the "Marsalis-gun"

There was lots of talk on the street, but his Mom wanted him to go to Vandy and pursue Med School. Can't say much due to confidentiality. Doesn't really matter, He is at UT now and he is a great kid. Has the smarts to play at a high level and is of high moral character.

James is planning on being an early enrollee last I heard. He's grown a tad too I think he's at like 6'4" now.

Our WR class of 2010 looks very solid so far:

Markeith Ambles - 6'2", 185 lbs, 4 star, 7th ranked WR, #43 overall
Ted Meline - 6'2", 175 lbs, 4 star WR
Mat Milton - 6'6", 195 lbs, 4 star WR
Kenbrell Thompkins - 6'3", 190 lbs, 4 star WR (JUCO)
James Green - 6'4", 210 lbs ?, 4 star WR

Where is James Green???? He was a very sought after recruit.... He signed with UT but no on the roster??? Any updates??? GO VOLS!!!!

I think i would be a great move... He has more potential on defense, and now's the time to do it with all the receiving talent coming nxt year... Just ask Terry McDaniel how bad a move this could be.............

What are you talking about? I'm a senior at the same high school that Marsalis went to and watched every HS game he played. Vandy was one of the top 10 schools on his list and Coach Johnson did come to one of his games, but Marsalis never considered going there. It was always Florida, Bama, and Tenn at the top of his list with Miami and Georgia Tech next on his list.

As far as moving Teague to DB, he can play anywhere and would be willing to do it, but I think he would make more plays if he stayed at WR. CLK needs to get him more involved in 2010.

You can't go by anything that comes off West End, 21st ave, or any other street around Vanderbilt's campus. After all, Vandy fans still think Ron Mercer seriously considered going to school there
