North is a lot like fellow North Carolina product Jordan Fieulleteau, only North is faster overall. He is an excellent combination of size, burst, sneaky explosiveness and top-end speed for his stature. He is an outside receiver who is physical enough to be a factor on the inside. His foot quickness and ability to get off the line and into routes quickly is a strong point. He is very natural in terms of his change-of-direction skills and body control. He is a sharp route-runner who doesn't have to gear down a lot when going into and coming out of his breaks. Shows wiggle and lankiness, which makes him difficult to guard when he is attacking defenders as a route-runner. Stops and starts nice given his height, and he can set defenders up by attacking alignment. He is extremely shifty after the catch and shows very good short-area quickness to get into open space. He has shown the ability to pluck on the slant route, hit the seam and take it to the house. He is tall with good leaping ability and has shown the consistent ability to come down with the jump ball. He extends and approaches the ball at its highest point with good body control. His size creates mismatches versus man-to-man coverage and with added bulk and strength, he will learn to shield defenders from the ball on shorter, underneath routes. North shows slight tension in the hips and has a high cut build, which may limit his ability to explode laterally out of breaks. He is at his best on upfield, steep angle routes -- streaks, posts, corners, skinny seam, etc. There is a lot to like about this prospect. North shows some natural playmaking skills and is productive. He is a very good prospect.
