Marlon Brown

You don't know me....I might be a scout! Have you seen him play??? I have many times. He is not a top 60 player in the country based on my opinion. He is very good, but not a game breaker. UT has MANY very good players, no game breakers. If he does not come to UT, fine! TOO SLOW!

Marlon's size and frame, he could easily become a TE in college. Ohio State already has mentioned that. Imagine him at TE and then tell me he is overrated and to slow.

From The ESPN Southeast Recruiting Blog:

• Several get the feeling Georgia is rising for receiver Marlon Brown (Memphis, Tenn./Harding Academy) and the in-state Tennessee Vols are falling. Apparently his visit to Athens was huge for the Bulldogs' chances.

Doesn't really matter if he's overrated or not , i get the feeling he won't be donning the Orange & White.

UT needs GAMEBREAKERS! not slow kids that play against crappy competition like he does.

Patrick Turner was supposed to be the man.....what has he done at USC? couple td's here and there when the game is already over. He is a SR, and done nada in LA.

Brown is Turner. Same player. Not a game breaker. I still hope he comes to UT, better here than anywhere else. I hope I'm wrong about him, but based on what I see, I stand by my evaluation....good, not great!

Marlon Brown is a much better athlete than PT. you dont know what you're talking about when you compare the two.

there forty and size are pretty close..
idk about there vertical leap..
but Turner and Brown are pretty similar athletically and size wise..

but thats not all what Talent is, so we'll see

Isn't he also a stud in Basketball too? That must be the only reason he is still interested in us at this point.

How good in basketball? Good enough to see solid Minute and contribute? Or just to fill a scholarship?

With all the talk about the Dawgs rising on his list, how good would it feel to beat them 'Between the Hedges'. I believe it would go a long way in getting him on the Hill. IMO it might be the only way he comes here at this point.
