Vol assistant coach Stan Drayton has been recruiting Brown from the get go and Brown certainly hopes that Drayton remains at Tennessee.
"We are real close," Brown said. "We have a good relationship. If something happened and he wasn't there then things would change some. I would certainly still consider Tennessee, but it would change things for sure."
"It was amazing. He is a very spiritual and honest man. He was so down to earth; they felt very comfortable with Coach Richt possibly being my coach," Brown said.
"They did not seem concerned at all," said Brown. "In fact, they seemed very confident in their chances. There is a lot of pressure (to stay in state), and it is going to have a huge effect on everything, to be honest. I feel I could leave the state without second thoughts, though."
Brown quipped "Those Bulldog commits, they work on you hard, all of them. Ealey, Lynch, Long, and of course Murray. They do it all the time, but they also make it fun to talk about."
Brown will be a beast, all you people saying that he'll suck dont know what youre talkin bout
I've been gone for a few days. this post seems like it was sent to me.
I never said Brown would SUCK! I just don't think he is a "playmaker". I have seen him play alot in HS. I hope UT gets him (for MANY reasons I will not get into again).
He is a better fit here than OSU/GA. I want him at UT. But for those that think he is a gamebreaker....you are wrong!
A "beast"???? NO! Good.........maybe? UT needs GAMEBREAKERS..They have none!
Peaygolf, you call yourself a fan of the Volunteers but you want UT to get players that you think are average at best. You make no sense.
some people just have a hard time admitting they were wrong
