the only thing lacking in that game was our defense and ability to do anything with the ball in the 2nd half.
we want respect, well, i'd say we start earning it. until then, it just sounds like whining. mho.
i used to think that way. but then it dawned on me on saturday as i watched us beat the crap out of some team with our starters still in the game (Jim Donnan while a GA will probably know what game i'm speaking of specifically, but there are others).I tend to agree, especially if it's the backups playing. But in that game there was a time to "call off the dogs". It didn't happen.

while i agree there's some measure of sportsmanship that everyone should follow in sports, it is still the opponents' responsibility to stop you. it's not your job to do it for them. and crying about it afterward is petty.
i'll just keep saying it....we want respect and everyone to take notice of what we do etc.....well, at some point, we're going ot have to make it out of September still controlling our destiny in the SEC, otherwise we are always going to be an afterthought as the season goes along, always talking about woulda, coulda, shoulda......
Shame on us for beating the crap out of UGA. I have never nor will never cry about it - it was brought up and I gave my opinion. It's our fault for quitting late in the game, but I can't help to think that CPF would be content with running the clock out with the shoe on the other foot. I hope we have the opportunity to find out.

You do get it. You just pointed it out. Clawson and staff plus D-Mo... as the summary says.
Makes perfect sense to me.
And Clawson is exactly what most critics wanted... an unpredictable offense run by a talented up-and-comer.
Sorry they couldn't include D-Mo in this year's star system, but if they did, folks would have to complain about something other than not getting a 5-star. D-Mo is a 5-star with courage, character, and playing time. He's much better!
