Tennessee is very good at what they do and Tyler Bray is very accurate, as you can see. He’s got a great quarterback rating and he may be the best in the country, I know he’s the best in the league. It’s definitely going to be a great challenge for us.

I wonder what Aaron Murray thinks of this!? Do you think Bray is the premier QB in the sec?

I think he's right but Im sure he eased Murray's mind after the comments.

Can't we quote a more reliable source like David Pollack?

This means nothing. From having listened to Dooley yesterday, you'd have thought UGA was the New England Patriots.

This. From a stats perspective, Bray is the best in league. He's just calling it like it is and it happens to conveniently serve as coach speech.

Not rippin on ya Fiji, but I'll be more impressed if his stats look as good at the end of Oct when he will have faced the 5 best defenses in the SEC. So far, he's won the games he's supposed to have won, albeit in an impressive manner.

Who have the other "top" QBs faced? Of course his numbers will come down but what does that mean?

Which QB could you have put in TB's uniform and got better numbers to this point?

I'm not downing the kid, but before we go giving him the Heisman, here's who he has put these status up against as a starter:

Memphis (114th in the nation total yds/game allowed)
Ole Piss (80th)
Vandy (94th)
Kensucky (50th)
NC (33rd)
Montanta (FCS)
Buffalo (75th)
Cincinnati (42nd)
Florida (7th)

This month alone, he'll face the 3rd, 7th, 9th and 24th best defenses in yards allowed. I'm comparing him to nobody other than the competition he's faced.
