Also no TDs and a fumble, we didn't get the win but we basically shut the 'Bama offense down.

Bama better find better QB play.
Ive said for a month, they are the best team in the nation.

If they can't get better QB play it won't happen.

Ingram was still the game changer today. He put Alabama in field goal range many times...

Tim Tebow ?????

don't forget about Tebow's 2 TD passes doesn't matter if they went for Miss St. scores I'm sure it will add to his total. The only Qb in the country to do what he does and gain votes it is crazy.

Almost all of Ingram's yards today came from that wildcat gimmick crap. Our defense shut him down when he took legit handoffs...

I never thought gay bangs JP Wilson was anything special, but I think he would've been more effective than McElroy.
But how good another team is the least of my concerns.

Our ST has cost us every game this year save maybe the UF game (which I think good ST play would've given them a much longer field, and likely remove a few of their scores, and put at least one missed FG back on the board). If they do their job, this team is a one loss team at worst.

We need to recruit a FG Kicker in the worst way (Palardy is a K and Punter).

With that mediocre rushing day and key fumble, Ingram blew any chance for the heisman.

He averaged 5 yds a carry. You shut him down alright!!!.. The problem was we didn't run the ball enough. We have 2nd and 2 from the 5 and we throw back to back. It was obvious UT couldnt stop the run, yet, we didn't run it. Wildcat or not, Ingram got 5 yards a carry. Think about that before you say you shut him down.

The biggest bulk of that came in the first half, should they have run the "wildcat" more often, probably. Couldn't stop the run? UA ran for 136 yards total, whats your average, 250 total yards, maybe you should go post where they will pat you on the back for this particular crap.

If I had a vote, it's going to Ingram.

I know these are fighting words in these parts, but I still see Clausen as a frontrunner. Ingram's still in the race, but he DID commit a fumble that immediately led to the game's only touchdown and nearly cost Bama the game.

Although 322 touches without a fumble is VERY impressive.

That's right.. Inrgram ran 18-99 for a 5.5 ypc.As a team we ran 30-136. A 4.? yard avg. That is not stopping the run. We ran the least amount of running plays this game than we have all year.

I don't want a pat on the back. Just trying to make a point that 5.5ypc is nowhere near shutting a RB down.

Classic bammer mullet right here.

Why can't everyone just shut up and say it was a surprisingly close game that perfectly encapsulates SEC football? We gave you guys the toughest game of the season, and you guys gave us the 2nd toughest game of the season.

I mean, if you want to come in here and spew, lets talk about all the streaks we broke for you guys last night, shall we? Or we can take the higher road and celebrate our accomplishments, because both teams had a healty abundance of those.

They shut the mildcat down in the second half. Bama probably should have kept running, but Ingram was pedestrian at best last night. Don't worry though, that was probably the best defense you guys will see all year. Ingram will go back to running over chumps now.
