Eastern Kentucky: Multiple sources tell FootballScoop that EKU is interviewing Tennessee special teams coordinator Mark Elder for their head coaching opening.

This would hurt. Not sure if he is heavily involved in recruiting, but the special teams have been awesome this year to watch.

hopefully they learned how he taught special teams, so just would have to find someone and tell them how to teach it. :crossfingers:

EKU is tiny tiny tiny. Don't think that would be a step up for him

Got to start small if you want to move to head coach from special teams coach. Saban coaches are always moving on. I think it tells you about the health of the program. Tennessee is moving up so assistants will be moving up into other programs.

Only way for an excellent ST coach to get a decent raise. Probably trolling the AD for a raise.
