Still trying to figure out how having kids/other responsibilities makes smoking worse.

For future reference, when you're making a stance and find that Ihatebuckeyes and Billy C are your allies, it might be time to rethink your position.

lulz you should make a call out thread so you can look like a bigger idiot.

you can swap em up from time to time. i smoke for a while, drink for a while. none is better than when you combine them.

Alcohol is so much better than weed. Of course this is my opinion and here are a few reasons why I think so...

-for one, marijuana is illegal most places in the U.S. so you are always taking that risk.

-marijuana is one of the most psychologically addictive drugs in the world, which sucks. Especially trying to quit after you do it everyday for a while. Talk about some irritability.

-marijuana can make you just want to sit there and watch tv and not do anything which could make you a recluse.

-a lot of hot nice females don't like dudes that smoke weed and consider them losers but on the other hand they love to go out for a few drinks.

Alcohol > Weed (and it's not very close... at all)

I smoked pot from age 11 to 35 and a quarter to half ounce a day for over 10 years and at times an ounce a day.and I drank alcohol from age 18 to 32 sometimes for days .between 22 and 27 I was an alcoholic .pot stones you alcohol makes people stupid and rednecked.and I quit smoking with no ill effects one day and haven't smoked in almost 7 years but I saw what happens to people who drink a lot their liver starts shutting down.like my wifes dad who died after fighting liver disease .the absolutle worst death I ever seed it took a year to die.i don't do either but if my 16 year old girl wanted to do one or the other pot would be it.

You smoked a half oz a day, sometimes a whole oz? That's like 20+ joints a day. I find that hard to believe.

my mother told me the same thing, when I got caught smoking weed she flipped the **** out claiming I'm ruining my life, when she smoked for years and she TOLD me too...but I agree, if my kids have to choose I'd rather them smoke

this poll is bogus.....obviously smoking meth is the way to go. When my kid reaches 13 I'm going to pass down the family meth pipe to him.

I like being comfortably drunk...It helps me socially. I just hate being hungover...

So...weed. No "hangover" and it is safer. The fact that it is still illegal is the biggest crock of s*** ever.

Weed is the most addictive substance I've ever come across. I've fought it for three years now. I need to be put on that show Intervention.

Weird because I smoked from high school through college and then just dropped it cold turkey without a problem.

Okay.

I'll be honest for a moment.

While there may not be a proven physical addiction, I have noticed a very strong psychological addiction to the drug and its effects. Which, in my opinion, can be equally devastating. Maybe it's just the people I've been around.

No may not about it. There isn't. It's ridiculous that alcohol is legal and pot isn't.
