Marcus Spears - I want to see Keller Chryst...

Tennessee has got to do somthing I would like to see strout play some since we are playing for the future apparently. I can tell you 1 thing JG is not are answer for the future JG shows no emotion at all like he doesn't even want to be playing. Give me. Sharrion Jones type of Qb that will lead his team and show he wants to win!!

It was overloaded but there were enough to block it and it was whiffed. But JG has to feel the pressure and anticipate pressure and move off the spot. He stands like a statue waiting for the wr to open up instead of stepping up, dumping it off, running, or throwing it away.
Pocket was collapsing. TE makes his block and the ball is gone .5 seconds later

We get it. You hate JG. What else you got?
I dont hate JG. He just is not a good QB for UT. Lighten up Francis!

Jarrett Gaurantano (sp?) looked shaky to him against Florida. He'd like to see Tennessee give Keller Chryst a chance to see if he can make some plays downfield.

Personally, I don't know if Chryst could lead the offense better as a starter or not but the QB play displayed last week is not winning football. For all the talk about the QB can't commit turnovers for this team to have a JG lays a huge egg in a game we needed to win. I know, I know the offensive line is not great but it is what it is. This is not 7 on 7 shell drills where the pocket stays clean.

I want our QB to be more than tough, I want him to know how to win.

Guarantano is better than Chryst. Chryst couldn’t keep the starting job at Stanford for the same reason he couldn’t beat out Guarantano, the reason being he’s not very good. Quarterback play is the least of this teams problems.

Yeah JG completes 2 passes on the first drive and we still didn’t get a first down. I think Chryst has led more TD drives for us this year. At some point try something different rather than just keep losing. It’s not bailing on JG as much as trying something else and maybe give him a chance to watch and learn (if he can do that and not pout)
In garbage time against ETSU and Floridas 3rd string

I have no problems if Pruitt wants to play KC. If he gives us the best chance to win and plays better then lets roll with him. But its funny, why does Pruitt go with JG. Now, it could be that this is another Botch Jones type of sitiation with Dobbs. In that, the wrong QB is playing. Or, it could be that Pruitt sees and knows things the average fan does not. I am by no means an expert. And considering who Pruitt has coached under, I think I will go with Pruitts judgement.

JG played the best half of football Ive seen from him. There is hope and I think this can be a huge boost for him and allow the coaches to open the play book a little more.

This bye week is the time to stat getting KC half the practice reps. I would start splitting possessions during Auburn and Bama. That way you can make an evaluation of who should start for SCe

Lol. No he hasnt.
Assuming he means College.
We have only won 6 games since JG has been here and I know he didn't start against Georgia Tech, UMass or Indiana State. So 3 wins?
Stanford had around 10 with KC starting didn't they?
It's a team game, so I'm not putting much into that but the guy you responded to isn't wrong about the number. Except it may be 3 times as many wins.

What is JG’s winning trait? Toughness? He can take a hit and that’s it. He’s not accurate. He just sits in the pocket too long and makes bad decisions. I watch him throw the ball to a defensive lineman on a screen pass instead of throwing it away or at his feet. This guy hasn’t progressed a bit.
