Looks like Marcus Roberson, UF Soph CB #5, will be experiencing a learning curve this Saturday. Calls Bray ... "a 'daredevil' that takes chances and forces some throws. 'We like that as a secondary,' Roberson said. 'We all just trust each other with our technique and ability to make plays on the ball."

Looking forward to reading #5's post game quotes about being torched by Bray!

I don't think that's really trash talk. What he said is pretty much accurate, but TB plays that way because, for the most part, he can.

Hasn't forced many throws this year though, ofcourse he really hasn't had to either. Bray has matured as a passer imo, still likes to sling it but has really shown he is more of a passer now than ever.

100% agreed. Aside from the juco's the biggest improvement I've seen from this years team is braying throwing away, checking down, and in general being a general and less and less of a gunslinger.

BTW did anyone notice when asked about no huddle he specifically referenced Peyton's opener against Steelers? I think the guy is finally getting what it takes to be a real QB and not just a guy with a bad ass arm.

Why can't these dumba$$es shut their mouths and just play the damn game? Maybe there is an answer somewhere in my own question.....

Thanks, Roberson.

We like that Bray plays that well; apparently, it does a good job of clowning all-American corners. Can't wait to see what it will do to some underclassmen I've never heard of until just now.

“They're nice,” UF sophomore cornerback Marcus Roberson said. “They're guys that will go up and get the ball. We're all looking forward to it. It's a big challenge for us as a group.”

Is this the "trash talk" you guys are referring to? In all seriousness I haven't really read anything so far from either side that I'd classify as trash talk....even Sentimore's comments. For those of you not familiar with Roberson, he's good and has the potential to be a great one. Obviously, even the best corners will have their hands full with UT's wide outs though.

Should be a good matchup.

According to most draft experts, Amerson from NC State doesn't have potential to be a great one, he IS a great one (McShay has him going at #5 overall).. And he got torched deep multiple times by Bray, then got flatout owned by CP on an end-around.

So yeah, good corners have their hands full.. I'd say this Roberson cat is gonna have his hands full as well :)

And when Hunter was told that the UF CBs will come up to the line and challenge the UT WRs he said that is what he hopes they will do. UFs secondary and UT's receivers are 2 confident groups and are relishing the challenge that both offer each other. I haven't seen any trashtalking from either group, just players on both sides expressing confidence in what they, and their teammates, do.

I have a feeling their secondary is gonna play dirty to compensate for their struggles if/when we start getting ahead of them and beating them consistently.

yes he has he just has WR's and a TE that make it look like he didn't. one big thing iI have noticed this year is he actually goes through progressions...sometimes.

#Gators CB Marcus Roberson calls Vols QB Tyler Bray a "daredevil" because he forces throws into coverage. "We like that," he adds.

UT went very vanilla vs GSU depending on their pure talent differential to get enough space for Bray to complete passes. He pretty consistently threw into the teeth of their coverage. They just did not have the skill to stop him or the receivers.

Roberson apparently thinks he's going to do the same with them. If Bray does then his confidence is warranted. I have a feeling though that he and his compadres are going to have to resort to holding and interferring again...

We must be watching different games. He hasn't thrown hardly any, if any, into double or triple coverage. If he throws into double, from what I've seen there has been a window. Guys are not going to be wide open, it takes a QB to put it in a spot to catch in order for the WR to catch it. There hasn't been any off the wall catches this year, so not sure where you are getting the WRs and TEs are making him look good.

look for bray to light up roberson early for a big play---roberson will be overmatched in this game.

Your mistaking zone for throwing into coverage. All of his throws were into the soft spots in their zone. GSU played a ton of zone
