We are now listed at 16th on Rivals

After getting a commitment from the Lanier youngster, UT was 18th in Rivals. The Jackson kid goes from a 3 to a 4 star. Another kid goes from .6 to .7 and the class is now 16th with the same talent.

I know, I know the talent was re-evaluated by the raters. But as far as the evaluators that matter, our coaches, nothing changed.

Recruiting services are amazing.

You mean coaches DON'T give out scholarships based on what the recruiting services think and actually evaulate a player for themselves?!?!

And 5th in the SEC. Find that entertaining since a few posters (and I believe the local media) were expressing concern over UT being just 9th or in the lower tier a few days ago. Now, UT is in the upper half.

Yes, I understand that the rankings are fluid and will change with commits and decommits.

Don't get ahead of yourself. Signing day still a long way off in recruiting years.

Far from it. Been following recruiting closely since the late 90s. So, I know that things change, sometimes considerably, up to NSD.

For the last several weeks, I have continued to expect that UT will end up at 6th based on who is left on the board and how the rest of the SEC was finishing out their classes. But there are no guarantees.

Again, just find the angst previously demonstrated by some rather funny. And, I'm curious if those in the local media will be as quick to point out where UT stands today.
