So I just found out that the house my wife and I are looking to buy is next door to Marcus Haislip. Does anyone know what he is doing these days? I know he was with the Spurs for a short time this year I think.

Cool. Just wondering. They weren't home and the last I had heard, he was at least working out for the Spurs or something this year.

Haislip was a freakishly athletic player and one of the better players to come through the Tennessee high school ranks.

It is a shame he was never able to polish his game under better coaching. Despite the differences in their game, Negedu's raw ability reminded me a lot of Haislip.

Hopefully we will get to see more of Negedu.

Haislip and Negedu are about as similar as salt and pepper.Haislip could jump out of the gym and at 6 10 with some offense thus a first rounder and Negedu great kid great heart but basically no offense but always gave you 150 per cent

on this part I agree and was about to post the same thing. much talent, not much tutelage.

haislip is one of my all time favorite basketball players .if he hadnt left to go pro after his junior season he would have had a great senior year,and tennessee would have had a better team

I am assuming you didn't do that on purpose. Otherwise that's just mean.
