Who cares he is a 3 star... Our rivals Alabama and Florida are reeling in 4 stars with ease. Sucks for us. Lol! Just kidding! Any chance this kid has kick off return capabilities/potential?

Get a grip on reality. Michael Taylor is a 3* as well and was MVP of the UA game for his team.

How many *5 have you seen be a bust??? LOTS!

These are not the Fulmer days anymore of bringing in talent and watching it go to waste. If they have offered him then he has shown something...

Oh and I think Montori Hughes was *2 and he looks to be well on his way to becoming a pretty solid DT...Its about Coaching!

I love the fact our staff doesn't just look at stars. They look at their talent. There are soo many great 3 star players who have so much potential. Dexter McCluster was a 3 star. so was Greg King, Toney Williams a lot of good players! Even Chris Johnson was a 2 star and he's rushing for 2,000 yards with the Titans

A 5* bust is less likely than a 2* that never contributes. For every Chris Donald, there's a dozen Josh Hawkins type players. The star system isn't perfect, but it is a good tool overall to judge talent. Just look at basketball recruiting rankings. The stuff is legit. Anyone can throw out an exception to the rule, but overall a 5* rating means the player is MORE LIKELY to become a great player.

He has 1 D1 scholarship offer to play RB...1...best RB in the NFL now.

Very nice pickup. He changes direction without slowing down and has a second gear. Love how he fielded that punt, took the hit and then out ran the coverage. Those int returns were pretty sweet too. I'm with m37bruno, who cares about stars, give me players. This guy looks like he has good potential.

True but also true is not all 5* are created equal. We seemed to be real good at landing the paper 5*s.

There are probably as many 3* players in the NFL as 5* stars...seriously.

Look at the numbers. The 1st and 2nd All-Decade HS Team (Rivals) was almost entirely made up of 4* and 5* players. The majority of those players were also very good in college and/or the NFL.

Again, the RULE is that the rating system is a great indicator for potential and ability. There's always exceptions to the RULE.

Because there are about 20x more 3* players each year. Rivals only elects about 25 players as 5* each year, so yes I'm sure there are probably more 3* in the NFL just by the numbers.
