I believe he is ether going to Tenn Tech or UT-Chatt. Could TSU be in the conversation. I don't see him sitting out a year to play one. And i think its instate due to credits transferring if he received the right advice

When you are short you can get to full speed quick but he is not short. he needs a few steps. That is ALL he has ever asked for....begged for....just give me a few steps to get up to speed....and our OC tricked him last bowl game to keep him and then went back to this hot garbage.

He has still given everything he got and almost 90% of his yards come after contact but he is human and his body is wearing down.

He has never once Not given everything though!

That's baffling. If he's thinking that he needs another year to prove himself to the NFL, then I can understand playing another year in college. If he were to have come out this year I don't think he'd get drafted very high (if at all).

But waiting until the 2019 draft is just moronic. If the kid doesn't go to an FCS program then he is an idiot.

He knew that at some point JK was gonna have to get some carries. Once he got hurt, it was all AK and JK. He saw his carries being cut and probably knew the record wouldn't be reached this year, because he wasn't gonna come back next year no way. But, quit in the middle of the season?!?!?!?!? Maybe he's been talking to Bama's ex-QB that left, and they're gonna go play at UAB or Western KY. They'd kill it in the Sun Belt.

I suppose that's possible. If he doesn't already, surely he would after the Spring semester. If he has to stick around to get his degree, I'll bet he'll be the most popular guy on campus.

He was looking at OSU initially and 74 said he was putting out feelers there after last season. Also read on here that Hurd's biological dad was pushing Hurd to OSU during the recruitment process. I have long wondered if they are one in the same. Regardless, good luck Jalen. Hope you don't quit on your next team.

How many have left Alabama in the same time period? Just as many. Hurd did same thing in high school to his team. All you idiots talk about what a great RB he is and how he is a beast. Now Hurd wants to change positions because he knows he has no future in the NFL as an RB. Butch, tell him the same thing Saban tells guys who want to transfer, hit the road. It's not about you, it's about the school and the team. DIVA!!

What I don't get about that is they don't run out of the I at OSU. They run out of the spread there too and have had troubles in the passing game. Granted the line play might be better and the competition not as consistently tough, but the "scheme" itself isn't too much different.

Correct. Jalen didn't practice last week because he was upset. CRG said leave him in Knoxville but CBJ said no. Jalen's father is driving his new attitude and trying to make a name for himself like those videos last summer on the treadmill.

Players come and go. Some leave a great legacy. Some others, not so much. His legacy will be that he left his team with 4 games left instead of playing it out. That says it all. I feel for his teammates that he quit on more than anything. It also tells me he's had it with Butch and wants to damage him instead of waiting after the year because he knows how this will have an impact on recruiting by leaving with 4 games left. What a selfish move. Bye.
