Peyton will never be in a better position to shut his detractors, me included, up. All he had to do is pilot his team to a victory at home, then beat whatever dreck comes out of the NFC.

i've said i'll shut up for at least awhile for at least finally making the superbowl. proves that he can get there at least. but you're right as well. at some point he has to win one too.

Peyton's Super Bowl is next Sunday, no doubt.

Bears vs. Saints in the NFC Championship game. I repeat, Bears vs. Saints.

So, are one of the detractors that said he can't make it to the Super Bowl or does he have to win it to come out from under the "can't win the big game" mantra?

Bears vs. Saints would be a lot cooler if the QB matchup was Mike Tomczak v. John Fourcade.

I think a win next Sunday would go a long way toward invalidating criticism of his big game performance. He will have defeated the best clutch QB/Coach combo in the game with a victory.

Can the Vols beat Michigan twice? Remember the Bowl game in Florida? Well, it's time for the Vols/Colts to win. Tom will not get his 13th win in the playoffs against the Colts.
GO COLTS!:eek:k:

Unless Peyton snaps back to his regular season self, I would predict another long offseason.

As you know, Manning not exactly been playing well so far, he's getting alot of support from his defense and FG kicker. He will need more then that to beat the Pats. He's got riding on his arm next week.

For you, does he need a great game to change your mind, or would a win suffice?
Must assume you are addressing hat. A good game without a win changes nothing in those folks minds that are anti Manning due the the "can't win the big game" theory. Must have a win and move on to the Big Game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ESPN is really dogging Eric Parker about fumbling the ball and dropped passes.
