As a Titan fan, it would've been awesome to watch him back in Tennessee but I understand if he feels more comfortable in Denver. It may have been too much pressure emotionally for him playing back in Tennessee in the same division as his former team.

Nah, you don't sound like your upset about Tebow getting the boot at all.

Hard not to be alittle upset if you are a titans/vol fan. I never thought the Titans would have a chance to sign my all time favorite vol. But, somehow they did. And, he went along like he was interested. It would have hurt alot less if he went to the 49ers. They are a super bowl ready team, however the Broncos are no better off than the Titans.

So, I won't pull for Peyton ever again. If he makes it to a SB I will pull for the other team. Just for the fact that I think he could have done just as well with the Titans! Good riddance Peyton!

By the way.. I will always be grateful for what Peyton has done for UT. And, I will never forget the good times he gave me as a Vol fan. But, as a professional I hope he has zero success from this point forward!

You really need to take off your powder blue glasses. The Broncos have a lot more in place than the Titans. Also the idiot owner of the Titans was, is and will continue to be a road block in the Titans ability to excel. He is by far the worst owner in the NFL. If you wanna blame anyone you should blame Bud the dud.

Beef, you think he is worse than Jerry Jones?

Wow, it's really unbelievable that some of you jacklegs are bashing PM for going to Denver over the Titans. It's a JOB! He took the JOB that he felt the best with, why is that so hard for you to understand?

As for "Denver is no better than the Titans", are you crazy? No 1 rushing offense vs the WORST rushing offense last year. As of right now the Titans have no defense, 1 WR worth a dang and a sketchy interior o-line. Denver made it to the playoffs (and won one game) with a fullback playing QB, so tell me which team is closer to a SB run?

I've always heard that the family will sell upon his passing. Haslams have been rumored to be at the front of that line.

The Haslams would have to sell their shares of ownrship in the Steelers. I don't see them doing that seeing how they're in line to own the Steelers one day.

that's nice seeing as we beat them and we had the second best offensive line last year but nice story bro.

I'm not a Denver fan but stats are stats and facts are facts! CJ sure showed his stuff last year didn't he, supposed best RB in the game and last in rushing as a team.

The reality of the decision and All things relevant were discussed on second segment of First and Ten. Merrill Hoge on Tebow. No Football IQ. Could care less about Tebow and what happens to him.

The catch was his deep inside discussion of Manning and what makes him brilliant. I see his decision to go to Denver as one he will be given full reins to run this program. He made the right decision and can't wait to see him develop this team.

IMO Even with a healthy Manning No Super Bowl for Denver next year but years 2 or 3 yes.

Like already stated, going to San Fran instant pressure. Titans didn't have the tools to get them there and local pressure living the leg ency would have been disappointing for fickled fans.

It is hard to believe that Vol fans would pitch Peyton Manning under the bus because he did not choose the NFL organization in the same state. An Organization that shares only one common denominator Tennessee.

Pathetic thinking on some fans' part.

fact is tebow made them the #1 rushing offense not mcgahee and ball lol the defenders took their shots on tebow while they got to run free passed the LOS

im taking cj every time over denvers whole damn stable of backs and wr's

Peyton was, is, and always will be a class act. He is involved in the communities in which he has lived and lives. He takes his responsibility as a role model seriously. He played his heart out while at UT and still supports the program and the community. He gave his all in Indy on and off the field. That's why he is so beloved in both places. I hate the Broncos, but I wish nothing but the best for them with Peyton under center. I would have liked to have seen him in Nashville as well, but bashing a man that has been one of if not the best ambassadors for UT sports in the history of the school is, to put it mildly, petty. He has and will continue to give back, to support, and to be a positive role model in all the communities that he has been a part of in his career. Peyton 'owes' UT and Indy fans nothing. In fact, we probably owe him for his actions on and off the field.

Yes he is. I don't like Jones at all either. But Adams is the least respected owner in the league by a large margin. There's a reason he is the ONLY original AFL owners NOT in the Hall of Fame.

Well said. I read these idiots bashing everyone who said its likely he wouldn't come here, now its Peyton's turn for proving them wrong.. Dude has given the entire NFL and TN nothing but an example of what being a competitor and loyalty is all about.

That's exactly what they've talked about doing in the past actually.

I'm no Steelers fan but the fact is they are probably a top 5 pro team in all sports. The Haslams are smart business men and are in line to own the Steelers. I find it hard to believe they'd choose the Titans over the Steelers.
