Manning to Denver

I didnt think Denver really gives him the best shot at a ring over the next 3 years. I think SF was the best spot for that. It will be more on him in Denver or Nashville to get to and win a SB. At SF he wouldnt have to put every game on his back.

Its obvious that other things factored in. Up to millions of things.

49ers would be a good team with Peyton but apparently they didn't even make an offer.

Cause he dumped the fans that loved him before he was all NFL MVP super bowl winner. The ones that supported him with the colts cause they drafted him then he gets offer to come back to Tennessee which is better than broncos and he leads the titans on messes us up from getting any other free agents to get a raise . Something I thought I would never thought he would have done . We got played by the one we loved like a son and to answer another ? I don't want him hurt but he chose a team with a bad o line so that's what he will get to look forward to the titans gave up 24 sacks last year . This will haunt him the rest of his career .

When did this become Titan Nation or Tennessee Nation? This is VolNation. Peyton was a Vol, still is a Vol, and will always be a Vol. Not being a Titan has nothing to do with his loyalty to UT. Those of you butthurt by his choice must be forgetting where you are. This isn't the Tennessee Titans Football forum. Check the name, it's the Tennessee Vols Football forum. Seriously, your bung-hole is sore, we get it, but try going to a Titans board to cry.

The truth is, Peyton probably wouldn't have considered the Titans if Bud Adams hadn't pursued him. Out of respect for Tennessee, he listened to what Bud had to say. Ultimately, Bud couldn't sell Peyton on being able to win a SB here.

From what I see, the Titans don't have a good D. The Colts lack of a good D is what limited Peyton to just one SB ring thus far. Broncos have the better D and the O will fall in place around Peyton. He makes every offensive player around him better. He knows their assignments as well, if not better, than they do. The guy studies the game like no one else. He's said in the past he'd prefer to stay in the AFC(eliminating SF) so the Broncos make more sense.

Some take this way too personal. He didn't betray anyone. He gave his all as a Vol and stayed for his senior year when he easily could have left. He owes no loyalty to the Titans.

He gave up a lot to be here in Tennessee in College and he has given a lot back during his stay here and after he left. When he did not have to do so.

I do hope the Titans play Denver in the playoffs at some point. I like it when someone gets proven wrong on the field of play and not on msg boards, by sports experts or writers or on paper.

In other words get over it.

The reason that Denver hand more Sacks this year is because they had an inept NFL QB named Tebow. Not because of OL play.
